Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Training Specialist / Instructional Design professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to educate client stakeholders & teams on privacy principles, policies, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, excellent communication skills, and a passion for training and education.

Please note: HONOS is a growing startup dedicated to data privacy solutions. We are currently building our team on a contract basis, initially six (6) months. So please carefully consider if a contract role works for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Design engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and training manuals, using instructional design principles and best practices.
  • Deliver live and virtual training sessions to client stakeholders, including employees, managers, and executives, on privacy policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and learner engagement through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, making adjustments as necessary to improve training outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to clients, including follow-up sessions, refresher courses, and access to training materials and resources.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess training needs and develop customized training programs tailored to their specific requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or related field;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, training development, or related field, with a focus on adult learning principles and practices.
  • Strong proficiency in instructional design tools, as well learning management systems or other education/ training delivery platforms.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners in both live and virtual settings.
  • Experience working with diverse audiences and stakeholders, adapting training content and delivery methods to meet varying learning needs and preferences.
  • Some knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations would be a great plus, with the ability to translate concepts into clear, accessible training materials.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Remote work environment however some travel required for on-site client visits/ work as needed.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting cybersecurity assessments, identifying security risks and vulnerabilities, and implementing controls to mitigate risks and strengthen data protection measures.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cybersecurity assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security risks and weaknesses in client systems and infrastructure.
  • Analyze privacy policies, procedures, and controls to assess compliance with data protection laws and regulations, identifying areas for improvement and enhancement.
  • Develop customized data privacy solutions and strategies to address privacy gaps and mitigate cybersecurity risks, incorporating industry best practices and standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to implement privacy-enhancing technologies, tools, and processes to strengthen data protection measures.
  • Design and implement security controls, monitoring systems, and incident response procedures to detect and respond to privacy incidents and cybersecurity threats.
  • Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks to client data and systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to client teams, helping to implement and maintain secure and compliant data privacy practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Strong proficiency in cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as penetration testing tools, SIEM platforms, and encryption technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and address complex cybersecurity issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a receptionist, or similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
  • Good organizational and time management abilities with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration, customer service or related fields are a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients virtually, by answering calls and emails.promptly and professionally.
